Анотація: Вивчення поняття здоров'я через такі базові дослідницькі категорії, як соціальний клас, гендер та етнічна приналежність. Теоретичний наголос робиться на аналітичних парадигмах осмислення науковцями зв'язків між біологічним та соціокультурним виначеннями здоров'я, хвороби (illness) та захворювання (disease). Теми включають соціальну справедливість та нерівність у здоров'ї (health disparities), соціальну градацію у здоров'ї (social gradient in health), аналіз наративів про хвороби тощо.
