Evening with Svyatoslav Vakarchuk

On October 5, 2014, an Evening with Svyatoslav Vakarchuk, a musician, the lead vocalist of Okean Elzy band, public activist will be held at NaUKMA.
The event will be held within the Fundraising Campaign FREEDOM, LEADERSHIP, INNOVATION: We Create the Future Together, dated to the 400th anniversary of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy, to be celebrated in 1615.
All raised funds will be allocated on charity projects:
equipping of a study room for distant education, which would enable access to studies at NaUKMA for students of the whole country, including Crimea and occupied regions at the east;
medication for participants of the anti-terrorist operation in Ukraine.
In the hard times for Ukraine, Svyatoslav Vakarchuk and Kyiv-Mohyla Academy are trying to organize an educational project, important for thousands of young people, and to support Ukrainian soldiers who every day risk their lives and health for Ukraine’s future.
