A famous platform Clarivate Analytics recently gave a number of awards in different fields of scientific research to the best scientific and educational institutions in Ukraine.
Kyiv-Mohyla Academy received first prize in the nomination Social Sciences, Arts & Humanities. The previous year (2017) our university gained similar award from the other well-known international database – Scopus.
This means not only that the specialists from Kyiv-Mohyla Academy published the biggest amount of materials in the international editions (in comparison with other Ukrainian universities and research institutions), this also means that the quality of their works in humanities and social sciences (including economics, law, social studies, political studies, public administration) is on the highest level among Ukrainian scientific publications, and that they are widely used by the colleagues.
As the President of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy Andrii Meleshevych said on the awarding ceremony
“This is an extremely honorable award for our little Mohylianka. We’ve got only 140 professors in our university who work in the field of social sciences. But all of them produce a high-quality, highly competitive scholarly content, this is how we take first places in both quantitative and in qualitative indexes.”
