Accommodation and meals

The National University of Kyiv Mohyla Academy has 3 dormitories for undergraduate, graduate and doctoral students. There are two types of accommodation: “apartment style” where utilities are shared between several rooms, and the arrangement with shared utilities on the floor. There are also suites for short-term visitors in the dormitory in Kharkivska Road, 17. When there are more applicants than rooms available, some categories of students are given priority, in accordance with the University regulations.

Depending on living conditions, monthly rent at dormitories varies from 200 to 230 hryvnas.

There are two canteens and a cafeteria on campus. Pastry and snacks are sold outside buildings 1, 2 and 3; also, there are several coffee machines. Dormitories have their own cafeteria, with the capacity for about 30 people. A cost of typical lunch (appetizer, soup, and main course) would start at about 15 hryvnas. Some categories of students receive coupons for free lunches. In addition, there is a wide range of privately owned cafes and restaurants near campus.
