New NaUKMA President Elected!

On Monday, November 17, Andriy Meleshevych was elected as President of NaUKMA.

The voting was held on November 17, between 9 am and 3 pm. 65.9% of electors supported Prof. Andriy Meleshevych, Dean of NaUKMA Faculty of Law since 2005.

Orysya Demska, Prof. of NaUKMA department of Ukrainian Language, won 13.8% of voices, Prof. Oleksand Demianchuk won 10.6% of voices.

Andriy Meleshevych will be the third President of the resurrected Kyiv-Mohyla Academy. His predecessors on this position were Serhiy Kvit (207-2014) and Vyacheslav Briukhovetskyi (1991-2007).
