Prime-Minister of Norway Erna Solberg spoke at NaUKMA

The Prime-Minister of Norway Erna Solberg visited NaUKMA within the bounds of her official visit to Ukraine. The Ambassador of Norway to Ukraine Jon Elvedal Fredriksen was present at the event as well. The newly elected President of NaUKMA Andrii Meleshevych welcomed the distinguished guests.

That day, at NaUKMA Congregation Hall a common three-year project of the University of Bergen and NaUKMA named "Learning Economics with Dynamic Modeling" was presented by its coordinators – Prof. Iryna Lukianenko (NaUKMA) and Assoc. Prof. David Wheat (University of Bergen). Two grants for development of the project were provided by the Norwegian Centre for International Cooperation in Education (SIU).

Speaking at the event, H.E. Erna Solberg addressed NaUKMA community with words of friendship and support. “Ukraine’s success is really important for us”, she said, and informed that Norway is ready to help Ukraine in reforming its energy sector and justice system, as well as in implementation of electronic government.
