The community of the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy expresses deep condolences and support to families of Ukrainians killed and wounded in Mariupol attacked by pro-Russian terrorists.
Ukraine is having one of the hardest periods of its history.
Tragedies of Mariupol, Donetsk, Volnovakha and other Ukrainian cities, murders of civilians and destroy of cities and villages have only one goal – to frighten us. That is what terrorists do, that is what they want.
Our most effective weapon is our courage, concentration and consolidation. Everyone of us must find his own place in this war and keep his own frontier.
We trust that we will hold out and win in the war against the evil. We will win having respect for our great past and responsibility for our great future.
On behalf of NaUKMA Community,
Andriy Meleshevych, NaUKMA President
