Fundrasing Dinner dedicated to 400 year anniversary

On October 1 NaUKMA hold a Fundrasing Dinner as a a part of fundrasing campaign "Freedom. Leadership. Innovation. Let's create the future together!"

 

 

 

 

About two hundred business, government, culture, social representatives united to support Kyiv-Mohyla Academy. Vice-Prime Minister Hennadiy Zubko, Mayor of Kyiv Vitaly Klitschko, Minister of Education and Scence Serhiy Kwit, Minister of Agriculture Oleksiy Pavlenko, Raifeisen Aval Bank Head of Board Volodymyr Lavrenchuk, alumni, partners and NaUKMA friends were among guests.

 

 

Bohdan Hawrylyshyn, noted scientist, social activist was a keynote speaker. 

He is the Full member of the Club of Rome and long-time director of Switzerland's International Management Institute. Since Ukraine declared independence in 1991, Dr. Hawrylyshyn has been an advisor to several Ukrainian prime ministers, as well as to most chairmen of the Ukrainian Verkhovna Rada.

 

In his opening word, University President Andriy Meleshevych has noted that Kyiv-Mohyla Academy is a community of students, professors, alumni, partners and friends, people of different origin and age, but those who share university values and develop its cultural traditions. University was and is always a part of processes in the state - all of us take active part in country's development. And everyone who shares our values, who support Kyiv-Mohyla Academy become members of Kyiv-Mohyla family, Kyiv-Mohyla community.

 

Mayor of Kyiv Vitaliy Klitschko has mentioned: "All of us came to Fundrasing Dinner to support Kyiv-Mohyla Academy. I respect this university. Lots of my friends and colleagues have studied here, and I feel an honor to support this university".

 

 

Kyiv-Mohyla Academy community is thankful to all guests, partners and friends who support the University. Money fundrased at the event will be dedicated to implement three strategic projects XXI century Networks, English language referred e-journals, Doctoral School and organization of anniversary events.
